Newbie saying hi!

Hello ladies,

My name is Molly, I'm in my thirties and 15 weeks pregnant with identical twin boys! This is my first pregnancy, so I'm super excited but at the same time wondering how on earth I'm going to cope; I can't believe I ever though one would be a handful! Finding out we were having twins at just under 9 weeks will stay as one of the most amazing, surreal and shocking pieces of news I have ever received, though as my mum said, I should have known what I was in for when I married a man named Noah, lol.

The pregnancy so far has been great - the mood swings a bit heinous but overall there is a lovely feeling of contentment, calm and all round baby bliss. I didn't get MS thank God, but I am getting wicked sinus headaches now I'm in my 2nd trimester. Bloody nose, congestion, that's about it. Oh and that hideous nipple pain that comes when they get cold! Yikes!!

Got the name of this forum from a friend of a friend who had twins about two years ago, this particular mom lives in Northern California sadly (I'm SoCal) and I don't know of anyone else with twins, so I'm really glad she passed on the information as I was getting to feel a bit isolated!! It's great here, I'm so glad I found you guys.

Just had a big thing happen that I'm dying to share - my first stranger commenting on my pregnancy!! A young guy in the supermarket stocking blueberries asked me how far along I was! I didn't even know what he was talking about at first and when the penny dropped it made me feel great - just like a real mom, lol! He's congratulating me on the twins and telling me about his young son and how much fun it was when he was a baby and all the while I'm thinking "I've got a bump! I've officially got a bump!" A milestone indeed! =)

welome to ts =) i love this place we are living in so cal also and i never have got to talk to anyone who is or was pregnant with twins till someone mentioned this site to me now im always on it and has helped me im on strict bedrest.

summerfun, if you check in again - joining the big sister program ( i nearly said BS but that doesn't sound right, does it, lol!) was the pretty much the first thing i did, it's such a great opportunity. i got my big sis yesterday, yaay!
