last tuesday i had my app. with OB, and for him everything is fine, we talk about the delivery, he said that it's too soon and for I don't worry about that stuff! Anyway yesterday I went to my U/S and everything is fine with the babies but they think that I am having some contractions and they put me on the monitor, which nothing happens. They say that I am dilated. they ask me if I am still working, I said Yes, and they ask me for I go next week to do a new U/S before my appointment with specialist in high risk pregancy and she will tell me what i should do but they already advice me for I try not to be on my feet too much! The girls are both head down. It's too soon for they born. It's only 26 weeks!!!! baby A measure 1 lb 14oz, baby B 1 lb 15oz. they look good!
It sounds like they are taking care of you! Did they manually check your cervix or just with the ultrasound machine? I would try to stay off your feet as much as you can and wait and see what the next u/s and appointment finds.
 I agree, if you are having contractions and are already dilated then you should really try to stay off your feet. I am surprised they did not put you on any kind of bedrest.
ditto this. I was on bedrest at 21 week due to PTL and short cervix. It helped. Try to take it easy until your high risk appointment. Can you take off work until then?? They may put you on full bedrest.
they check my cervix at the ultrasound. This doctor said for I reduce the time on my feet, but i should see my OB but I had my appoitment the day before an now just in the end of this month. Then I remember that I have my appointment for high risk pregnancy doctor, and they said for I make another U/S right before I see her! I really believe she will put me on bed rest because 2 months ago, my cervix reduce a lot in just one week, and she wanted that I stopped work but that time I was moving to another house, and she said if my cervix reduce the week after, she will put me in bed rest but then everything was fine and she said was ok to work until something got wrong!
I'm surprised that your OB didn't put you on bedrest if you are already dilated that early. If I were I would call my OB to discuss the results of that u/s now. The u/s tech can't give you advice or recommendations about what you should do. Your OB must evaluate the results and give you his or her opinion.
I feel good except I just wanna sleep and the back pain in the end of the day! If I could I sleep right over my desk!!!!! Finally tomorrow I can sleep a little bit longer, if my daughter let me!!!! lol I didn't talk with my boss about my schedule, but next week I will reduce my days at work, instead of taking off any day of the week and the saturday, I am going start taking 2 weekdays off and the saturday!!!!
