Hi, people! I came across a new trend in online shopping — FitRoom technology. It’s an AI that allows you to try on clothes in a virtual space, without real fitting rooms. At first glance, it seems like something extremely convenient, especially for those who don’t like to waste time in stores. But I have a question: how accurately can these systems show how clothes will fit on my body? After all, I’m quite thin and tall, for example, and it’s always difficult for me to choose something online without trying it on. Has anyone tried it? How does this technology work for people with non-standard figures? I’d be interested to hear your opinions!

Hi! I have also heard about FitRoom for a long time, and recently decided to try it. In fact, at first I was skeptical - how can such AI adequately understand how a thing will fit me if it looks different on models? But after using it, I became much more positive about such technologies. Yes, perhaps for some people with non-standard figures, like you, the system is still not perfect, but I would say that it took into account a lot, including body types. For starters, FitRoom allows you to enter your real body parameters - height, weight, chest, waist, hips. This means that your virtual model will be much more accurate than just a standard "average" model. Of course, it cannot completely replace a real fitting yet - for example, if the item is very tight, the accuracy may not be enough. But for most standard things, such as T-shirts, jeans or sweatshirts, the system really predicts how it will look quite accurately. For example, I have always faced the problem that jeans that fit perfectly on models are always too wide or too short on me. But with FitRoom, I noticed that the system suggests a more appropriate size, taking into account the proportions of my body.

Well, I read all your comments, and, frankly, I am also for technologies like FitRoom. On the one hand, I won’t say that it is an ideal replacement for a real fitting room — for now, the feeling of the fabric and how it fits in real life is something that a virtual fitting cannot fully convey.
