After my first post, I figured I better introduce myself!

I am a SAHM of Zoe, who is now 15 months old. After discovering that we were expecting a boy AND a girl this coming March(unplanned:), we decided that I would not return to work as a RN after my mat leave ended with Zoe in October.

I am married to Trevor and we are thrilled, yet still overwhelmed at the prospect of having two infants on top of a 15 month old baby girl. We have no friends or family here in Sarnia as we have just recently made a move here this past summer.

Having had NICU experience when ZOe was born at 36 weeks for RDS, makes me quite anxious about the real possibility of an early birth for multiples. I am currently 32 weeks along in this pregnancy. I am already 50 percent effaced and have had 2 injections of steroids to combat the possibility of preterm birth and the risk of Mya and Zach having breathing difficulties at birth.

It has been a relief to read that other moms have had similar experiences and that many who deliver early for the most part end up with healthy, happy babies!

It has also been a relief to know that all of my pregnancy related "complaints" are validated by the fact that a lot of us are going through similar experiences!

I look forward to getting to know you guys!

Welcome to the site and congratulations on your twins. You are luckily at a point were the babies should be safe if they are born, twins develop quicker than singletons, so I've heard. Good luck, I hope they stay put for a few more weeks.
