My name is Janan and I am 19 weeks pregnant with twins. I am new to forums in general so I may be a bit gun shy at first. I just wanted to introduce myself to the community. I have a million questions floating around my head that I will evenutally verbalize but I find myself still a bit ovewhelmed.

My husband and I just recently bought a house and are fixing it up. The house, the pregnancy and demanding jobs has put our nerves on end. But we try to keep a sense of humor as we know this is just the beginning!

First of all :sign0016: to TS! You will find this site to be very helpful. I am in the same shoes your in. We started building a house and then I found out I was pregnant with twins. It is a lot to deal with at one time. We are doing the work ourselves since DH is owns his own construction co., but with him working on other peoples houses and now I'm on bedrest things have slowed down on the house. The good thing is we should be getting our right to occupancy this week. Then finally I can put up my baby beds. Building a house and having twins takes so much money, but don't stress because it will all work out.

Congrats and welcome!!! I can certainly understand the stress that you are going through. We bought a new house, found out we were expecting, and I got a new promotion, all within a few weeks. I have to say, fix it up now while you can, since it is awfully hard to get stuff accomplished with two little ones taking up your attention!!! BUT, remember to take it easy. A twin pregnancy can be very taxing on your body. And it needs lots of water and lots of rest in between all of that house work!

I can't think of any reason to be shy in here. Chances are if you feel "it", think you feel "it" or wonder if you feel "it", then someone has and can tell you about it! This is a great place!

Thanks to everyone for your warm welcome!! I have a feeling that I will become addicted to this forum very soon. I have just been reading what everyone has been posting and its feels so good to know that I am not the only one out there busting into tears for no apparent reason and then laughing the next second. Having studied Psychology for many years I find it very amusing that I could easily be classified as having a mental disorder if I weren't pregnant!

Congratulations on your twins and welcome to TS! This is my first forum ever, too, and as you can see I've been addicted since the day I found out I was having twins. Welcome!
