    Hi everyone,

I am new to this site - although I have been reading some other people's posts in the last few days. I am due with fraternal twin girls on July 17th. I also have a four year old daughter. I currently teach special education - although I am done in two weeks (YAY!!) at 30 weeks - I can't wait!

I look forward to chatting with everyone!

    Christina

Congratulations and welcome to twinstuff! This is a great place for info and support! Your daughter must be so excited to have 2 sisters on the way. When we told my daughter she was going to have 2 brothers she said she only wanted one baby and she wanted a sister. She's gotten over it, though! :) Congrats again!

When we told her - she said that she was glad it was sisters because brothers are boys and she doesn't play with boys - lol!! But she is super excited!!

Hey Congrats! Just a quick twn fact.. You could still be expecting IDenticals. There is technically no way to tell that you are carrying Frats while in utero, unless they are boy/girl.

Most people, including some Drs., just assume it is Frats with two sacs/two placentas. And chances are good that they are, but you can't be possitive until after birth.

Thanks for the info - the ultrasound tech said that they are fraternal because of the separation between the two sacs - something about the thickness of that separating line. But I really have no idea about any of it. I'll be happy either way - so it makes no difference to me. But thanks for sharing that info.
