New to the boards

Hi everyone! :wavey: I thought I should finally delurk and say hello since I've been spending soooooo much time on Twinstuff!

My name is Kerry, and I live in a 'burb north of Dallas, Texas. I stumbled across your fabulous community last month shortly after I found out I was pregnant with twins. DH (Scott) and I are delighted to be expecting twins after several frustrating years of TTC and our first IVF treatment. We'll be first-time parents.

We are officially due June 10, 2009, but, of course, my doctor says that we should be prepared for an early arrival. I'm just thanking my lucky stars that I won't be preggars in the hottest part of the Texas summer heat!

Happily, this has been an uneventful pregnancy, aside from a little all-day morning sickness that I find is controlled by keeping something in my stomach at all times. Love those 3:00 a.m. runs to the kitchen for a bowl of Cherrios, LOL! Also had some early spotting -- which completely unhinged me until I found other members on Twinstuff talking about the same thing. My 10-week ultrasound looks great and I go for the NT test on December 2.

Anyway, I just wanted to post my introduction and say how happy I am to be a part of Twinstuff! The knowledge you guys have here is invaluable, and I hope to be able to figure out enough to "give back" someday to future newbies!

Hi, welcome!! You are not far behind me, I am due May 24th. We just had our NT scan done on Friday, and it was a fun app. We also experienced fertility issues. We live in Magnolia,Tx( just north of Houston). Congratulations on your twins!!

We lived in Texas tell I was about a year old. My mom was due with me June 3rd. I didn't come tell June 13th. She swears it was one of the hotest Junes Texas had ever had! Congrads on your twins and hopefully June will be nice and comfertable for you!

CONGRATULATIONS and welcome to TS!! :welcome: We also did IVF to get our precious little miracles. I SO remember those Cheerios. You brought back memories. I lived on Cheerios for the first trimester. It was a combination of craving (Cheerios and bananas) and what settled my tummy. Congrats again!!
