New to forum!

Hi! I'm brand new to this forum, but I've been looking around since Wednesday when we found out that we were expecting twins. This is our first pregnancy and we were definitely in shock that there are two little ones in there! They are in separate sacks and have two strong heartbeats. I just hit 12 weeks today and I still feel a little apprehensive about telling people in case something goes wrong. We've only seen the nurse (7 week appt) and the ultrasound tech (Wed) to check on a tiny bit of pink spotting I had over the weekend. We go in for our first appointment with the OB this Wednesday so I will hopefully have all my questions and fears addressed!

I have already found so much useful information on this site...mostly how to furnish the room and ways that others have dealt with the sleeping arrangements.

Congratulations It is scary when you find out you are having twins. Some of the nerves do settle down, but I think we all until the day they are born are scared and nervous and that is normal. That is one of many reasons why this site is so good, a great place to get answers, support, and get the reassurance you need

Well if you haven’t already seen, this site ROCKS, it has helped me through some tough decisions and supported me through scary times… like a 3am very weird cramp… you can post and someone will be up and on TS…
I hope you have a very uneventful pregnancy’s… did you get to skip morning sickness?

I think it took me till I was 16 weeks to be able to calm down and begin to enjoy the fact! There are still moments of what ifs and what will happen nexts, but all in all, I bet you will find that it is really an enjoyable experience. God blessed you with two little bundles and before you know it you will be feeling them move, and then they will be in your arms! It goes fast, so enjoy every second!
