Congrats on your babies!!! When the twins were born, I had a 9, 8, and 2 year old, and the first 2 weeks or so were fairly rough for us. I think mostly due to me experiencing PPD. My best advice is to let the 3 and 5 year old help as much as possible. Let them bring you diapers, wipes, make them feel like they are a really big part of this "new" and bigger family! Do you have any family nearby that can take the older kids out of the house for awhile so that you can get some rest while the babies are sleeping? Best of luck, I hope your beautiful girls are home with you soon! :hug99:

Congratulations! If there's any way you can get the older ones out of the house for a bit so you can rest, please do. We have two older boys and it was much easier to have them gone for a few hours here and there. Not much more advice, but I can tell you that having two older kids makes having twins a little easier. I'm glad I had the prior experience.

    Good luck!

I'm juggling a 2 year old and newborn twins and find it tough. But you really are a champ with two other kids and doing it alone. Please please please take anyone up on help. Is there any way to get a mother's helper or young student to help entertain your kids or help with chores? Finding a way to sleep a little is key to getting through the tough months. But saying that, you've been there, done that and you know what to do. You know the tough months are temporary and just keep telling yourself that when it's hard. They will sleep through the night eventually and that will make everything easier. Stay in tough with this form.

    Congrats!

about the germs think of it like this: how many nurses are taking care of you and your babies in the hospital, they wash their hands etc, but still can pass along germs too. just make sure whoever helps wears a clean shirt/and have them throw a receiving blanket over their chest too if you really worry (I know, the babies catching something from a well-meaning visitor was my biggest stress too) and washes their hands before touching the babies or just put them to work doing non baby touching things like laundry, fixing you something to eat, etc.

    welcome to FY!!!
