the girls have a very i would say victorian bedroom..crown moulding with a beig on top pink on bottom..dark cherry wood furniture etc... chandeliear the whole 9 ... their crib bedding was like vintage roses etc... now that the bumpers etc are off... they love arial.. so i bought them the crib sheet set arial from the big KMART/// looks adorable!! but i would like to do a themed room now... is it too young to do a princess themed room for them they are 20 months.. and does anyone have any good sites for toddler bedding etc?? they both still sleep in their cribs so i am definitly not transitioning them to beds yet.. but i want to spruce up their room ....any advice would be appreciated! I can't really imagine a themed room the way you describe it now, you'd have to redo the whole thing. Roses/Flowers would work better just feminine would work with the molding, lighting etc. you have now.

I recently found this furniture site I can't tell you anything about buying from them, my BIL is a carpenter so I just look at it with him to get ideas of what he could build us.

check your local library for books for decorating ideas. Home Depot and Lowes also have some kid's rooms books.

I think the vintage roses and dark furniture lends itself to a fairy theme as opposed to a princess theme perhaps?

Here is a website that has dozens of links to pages with bedding, wall murals, etc. for all sorts of themes (princesses and fairies included!) It might give you some inspiration.

Another great site for inspiration is
    http://www.sweetpeachesbedding.com/
Their bedding is pricey but fun to look at!

Enjoy your decorating! I must have redone my DD's bedroom 10 times between birth and college, little girls are just so much fun!

    Edited to fix links!

I've been a loyal client of Domestic Bin for years, they've got a huge selection of children's bedding for boys and girls of all ages. There's a great selection a very reasonable prices.

This place is ridiculously over-priced-- but i head there for ideas to steal! www.poshtots.com
Of course www.potterybarnkids.com and the teen section always has good ideas to steal and www.landofnod.com does too.
There is another site that has pretty good prices-- www.companykids.com
