Hello everyone!

I'm Lisa and I am currently 10 weeks pregnant with a second set of twins, having delivered the first set last June. Now that the shock has worn off, I am looking forward to being here! Nice to "meet" everyone!

I would encourage you to join our Big Sister Program. You will be matched up with another Mom with twins older than yours and she will support and answer any questions you have and we have few big sisters who have two sets of twins too, so maybe you could be matched with one of them!! Thanks for the welcome. I'll be 31 in one week and my husband is a US Marine. I had boy/girl twins 6/14/06. They were born at 33 weeks due to PROM, but they did fairly well, a bout with NEC aside. My oldest son's birthday is the 6/13 so basically we had his party and then I went into labor. I also have two singletons, who are six(boy) and four (girl). This will be my last pregnancy, have no doubt about that! I am hoping for a VBAC this time around since I had two unmedicated vaginal births with my singletons and then an emergency c-section due to breech/vertex presentation with the twins. I don't want to deal with the recovery time and keeping things together at home. I went to OB orientation for the Naval Hospital last week and they did a dating ultrasound. They said "There's two" and I thought it was a joke because they had read my chart and thought it would be funny. We were so sure this was old news after last year that my husband stayed at work instead of go to the OB class. He thought I was joking until I showed him the ultrasound. Poor guy. LOL!

 

LOL, Why do we always think its a joke! LOL Who would joke like that?! Well, congrats, i am sure you will find lots of love and support on this site!

congrats!! you won't be the first mommy on here to have two sets of twins...we have a number of ladies roaming the boards who have had two sets of twins. And a number of us twin mommies who wouldn't mind having another set! So you are in good company...

CONGRATS to you...My 3yr old was a twin, that i lost early on, and Im pg with twins again..nothing like what your going through though..Thats awesome...
