Hello I am new here, thought I would introduce myself. My name is Carrie and I am married to the most wonderful hubby ever! We have 5 beautiful children girl-15, girl-12, girl-11, boy-7, girl-15months... and just last week we found out we were expecting twins!! We knew we were expecting and when we went it as a family to see the baby's heartbeat we were a bit shocked by the doctor when he said there are two BABIES! We all began to laugh and cry, and laugh and cry :rotflmbo: . We are very excited but a bit nervous with the "what if's" of being pregnant with twins. I have always had good pregnancies. All my babies were full term, vaginal w/no stitches. I don't usually gain a lot as I am a bit on the smaller petite size.. so I worry about a lot of those types of things. Like will I end up on bed rest since I am so small? My head is flooded with a ton of questions. I will be seeing the doc again in 2 weeks from today so I guess I better write all this down. Thanks for letting me rattle.. I tend to do that sometimes :D

:wavey: Carrie and welcome to Twinstuff!! Congratulations on your twins!! That is very cool that the whole family got to be there when you found out it was twins. What do the kids think of this? I think writing down all your questions is a great idea. Whenever I went in without a list I'd forget something. Good luck at your next appointment and I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy.

Hi Carrie! Congratulations on the twins!!! I don't think you mentioned how far along you are. When is your due date? Wow 7 kids that's amazing! My twins were #5 and #6, and now I am pregnant with #7. Twinstuff is an amazing place to ask questions and get answers. And the support and encouragement will really get you and your family through. I am 5'2 and here is a great link to a Height Factor thread that was posted not too long ago

I am sorry didn't think about it... I am 12 weeks pregnant with a due date of June 21... of course doctor said I probably wouldn't make it that far.. so much to pray about.. Yes our kids are terribly excited!! That is all they can talk about. Our little man wants boys of course since he is the only boy other than dad.. so we told him health was the most important if they were boys then that would be a blessing too, but so would girls.

You probably won't make it that long, but some do. I made it to 37w3d and showed no signs of labor. I had to have a c-section cause A was transverse and B was breech. Boys or a boy would be wonderful for your son, but I agree health is most important. And I always tell my kids that if God wanted this particular sex then we do too :)
