    Hi Everyone! My name is Melissa, I'm from Colorado. I have been married to my husband, Jack for the past 7 years. We have a wonderful 3 year old son name Ethan and I am currently pregnant with identical twin girls (we believe) that are due 5/18/09, I am 15 almost 16 weeks along. They are calling my set Monoamniotic Monochorionic Twins or mo/mo, which through alot of research we've found out its rare (not sure thats the word) to be carrying this type of twins. I look forward to getting to know everyone here. :) Looks like a great place to be.

    Congrats to you and your DH! Welcome to TS! Make sure to visit often and ask away, that is what we are all hear for. I know I couldn't have made it this far without this site for most things (gotta give my DH credit somewhere...LOL)

    Congratluations on your girls!! Mo/mo twins are very rare and the separating membrane (which would make them mono/di) is very difficult to find. They thought mine were mo/mo but they found the membrane at almost 8 weeks. They could only ever see the membrane at the perinatologists office because they had a high resolution ultrasound machine. They could never see it on the ob's in office machine. Either way there are lots of great success mo/mo stories right here on twinstuff! Congrats again and keep us posted!
