    Hi everyone, my name is Christina and I'm expecting twins, very shocking! I've been on birth control for 3 years and as soon as I got off of it back in Sept to lose weight I got pregnant a week later. I'm 9 weeks today and I'm very high risk I have diabetes and high blood pressure. So this is nice that I found a site were I can interact with other expecting mothers of twins. I have a 5 year old son who has ADHD so I'm a bit nervous of having two. I'm still shocked and very nervous.

    :wavey: Christina and welcome to Twinstuff! Congratulations on your twins! :Clap: I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy. One of the many great things about having twins is that the doctors keep a very close eye on you, so I'm hoping that your diabetes and high blood pressure don't cause to many issues for you. I think it's totally normal to be shocked and nervous, that's what we're here for... to keep you company and keep you calm! :lol: We look forward to getting to know you. :hug:

    Congrats on your twin pregnancy....what a surprise, I am sure this isn't how you were wanting to lose weight but honestly being pg with twins has been a great weight loss plan for me! I am -7lbs from my pre-pg weight. It has all fallen off my face, arms, legs, butt etc. It is great! All in the belly now. I know when you deliever you lose like 30lbs of fluid so can't wait to see my weight after the babies are born. I also have a son, he is 4 and in pre-K. He will be 5 in April. I too worry how I will manage two more.

    I hope you have a healthy pregnancy.

    You will love it here. I have a 5 year old daughter and am also nervous as all heck about having another 2.....but somehow we'll do it!!!!

    Congrats on your babies....I am still in shock over twins, but I guess thats why we get 9+ mos (hopefully) to get used to the idea.

    Congrats on the twin pregnancy. I dont think the shock will ever wear off. LOL. I dont think I will truly believe it until I see them. Somehow you will manage all of the children and be just fine. Everyone is so worried how I will do it having 3 boys ages 8,2 and 1, but Im not worried I know it will work out somehow. Anyways Welcome to Twinstuff its wonderful here.
