    Hi!

I have been lurking on here for a bit but thought I should introduce myself. I am currently 33 weeks and 6 days with identical twin girls. I have been on modified bed rest since 22 weeks due to growth difference between the girls. TTTS was always a factor. At my first level 2 baby A was in the 20% percentile and baby B in the 45th. My last u/s showed baby A in the 48th and baby B in the 56th! I added two protein drinks to my diet, rested all day long and drank water like it was no ones business.

About two weeks ago I was diagnosed with cholestasis (severe itching due to bile levels off/liver not doing its job). Thankfully that has been under control.

Also, I have been doing NST's twice a week since 32 weeks and had weekly scans to check for fluid.

I have a c/s scheduled for Feb 7th (36 weeks and 6 days) due to the girls sharing a placenta and the cholestasis. So, I have about 3 more weeks to go!

A lot of the info that I have brought to my Dr. has been from reading from this site. I wanted to thank everyone who has posted their own questions or experiences as it gave me a little more control when asking questions and trying to give my girls the best start.

I too had something similar to cholestasis (it could have even been that but it was 10 years ago). When I was on bed rest with my son I would scratch myself to the point I would bleed… my Dr did blood work and found my liver wasn’t doing its job so I had to drink this powder RX mix… it didn’t help me… and the kicker was my MIL saying “mind over matter” <_< … but you know I had even forgot about that part of the pregnancy until recently when someone posted about really bad all over itching… so hopefully it will be a faint memory in 3 weeks

    Hi!!!

I am pregnant with identical girls too!!! I'm being watched closely too with the TTTTS. At 22 weeks, so
far ok, BUT mild case of TTTS. One baby is floating in more fluid,so they are watching me every week.
My cervix was starting to get thin, but it is back up to 4.4. And I'm on moderate bed rest too!!! Isn't it all alot
to worry about! i wish I was as far along as you. You don't have much longer to go! This website has totally helped
me to ask questons and learn more from everyones experiences. I'm so excited though, just on a edge a little
with all the high risks. I'm on weekly progestrone shots also to help stop early labor. I had my daughter at
341/2 weeks. I guess that is protocall for anyone that had early labor. Other than that, just trying to take it easy.
Please keep me ujp-dated on how your doing, labor ext. I want to hear ALL about it! Good-luck!

Have you picked any name out yet??

I also had TTTS and cholestasis. In my case, my peri decided that the cholestasis was severe enough that we needed to deliver a little more quickly that we had originally planned. Congrats on getting to 33 weeks!
