new here

hey everyone, i haven't even looked around here but i'm sure i'll be seeing some familiar faces, but i've finally made it to the 2-4 forum, as my fraternal girls, sadie and elena, turned 2 on june 9! we had their dora themed bday party yesterday and now the fireworks are dying down, and i can finally return to the forum. so far, our favorite word is 'no', lol, and i want to PT them sooo bad but they don't seem interested! i also want to start them in montessori this fall but they need to be PT'd to attend. we had their 2 yr pedi appt last week and sadie weighs 23lb 3oz, and elena weighs 28lb 2oz. different in every way. i need to post an updated picture. anyway, i'm a 36 yr old single mom by choice (donor sperm IUI) because i've been in 2 marriages that ended badly and will never marry or get in a relationship again... lol, seriously! so i did it by myself! i'm a RN and i've worked labor and delivery for 11 yrs, and i start a new job tomorrow where i'll be teaching LVN/LPN school. i'm also in school myself, working towards my masters in nursing education where i can eventually teach RN school. i currently live with my parents until i can get back on my feet, probably when the girls start free school! we live in a northern suburb of dallas tx, and that's us in a nutshell! glad to be here, things get more fun every step of the way so far!
