    I just joined the forum and I'd like to introduce myself - I hope that is ok! I'm Tali - 29 years old from South Dakota. We have 3 kids - Ella (4.5 years) and our twins - Jacob and Boden, who just turned 2. They had TTTS and were also pseudo-momo twins, and were born at 31 weeks, 6 days. They spent about 6 weeks in the ICN.

    They are developing right on track other than a speech delay, so I'll be poking around in the EI section to get some feedback. :)

    Hey Tali-- Were in SD are you from? We live in Sioux Falls. I have been on here since my twins were a couple of months old and have gotten a lot of great advice. Welcome!!

    Lindsay - We actually live near Beresford, so - about 50 minutes from Sioux Falls. :)

    Hi Tali! Welcome to TS! I have never heard or seen the term 'pseudo-momo" twins, and I am interested in hearing about it! I understand the monoamniotic part, but what does the 'psuedo' mean? Forgive me if it's a dumb question!

    Thanks for the welcome everyone! Now that the boys are 2 it is a whole new ballgame. ;)

    Becky - We call them pseudo-momo because they weren't born that way - they ended up in the same sac after having laser ablation surgery. We had a microseptostomy and that ended up causing the membrane to tear. We went from one big scary problem (TTTS) to a new one (momo twins). :)

    wow.. what an amazing story.. welcome to TS. you'll find this place so helpful and friendly. Hope u enjoy it. My twin sister and I are 18 years old from Australia and we had TTTS. - Born 16 weeks premature.

    Hi Tali. Welcome to Twinstuff. South Dakota is beautiful country. My daughter has family near Watertown. It sounds like you have an amazing story with your twins. Great to meet you.
