    Hello other twin moms! My name is Elise and I am first time mom to twin girls, Krystal & Kaylee. They were born on May 9th, at 34 weeks. Thankfully, they were only in the NICU for 5 days. My husband and I are currently stationed in Japan, because he is in the Navy. He has been away since their 1 month old mark, so I have been pretty much alone this entire time, and will be alone for the most part until we leave him in Feb. 2011 when he goes on shore duty. His ship is out for 6-8 months out of the year living here. Well, that is just a little introduction about me & my family :) Looking forward to talking with you all!

    Welcome to the FY & congrats on your twin girls! How are you finding being a mum to 2 newborns? Mine are May babies also but were born in 2008 ;)

    Looking forward to helping you along with your journey as a twin mum! :)

    Welcome! DH and I lived in Okinawa for 4 years and loved it (once I got over my separation anxiety from Target). We've got friends in Yokuska (sp?) right now! It's a tough life and I'm in awe of you! Feel free to PM me if you ever want to chat! You are going to love it here!

    Welcome Elise and congratulations! I am all too familiar with deployments - although DH hasn't had to deploy since the babies have been here. I know it's hard when they are gone, but this is a great place to find support and answers.
