New here :)

Hi everyone,

I am brand new to this forum this morning, and only found out that we are having twins yesterday afternoon at our first ultrasound! I am currently 15 weeks +1 day, and we were very shocked to see two babies on the screen (although I had to be told this...I didn't realize it on my own!) They were also able to tell us the genders of the babies...and we are having a boy and a girl! We are overwhelmed right now with the news, but it's going to be so amazing and perfect!

I am hoping to learn a lot in this forum about what to expect with a twin pregnancy, and what I need to be doing different than if I was only carrying one little precious baby.

Oh yes, and I'm due December 15th

Amazing! I hadn't even really considered that it could be twins, but having a boy and a girl all at once just couldn't be better, right? Congrats to you too

Congrats!! You will find lots of interesting information on this site. I have only been a member a short period. I found out at 10wks I was having twins. Right now I am at 24wks with boy/girl!

congratulations! I think it's wonderful that you just found out. :banana:
I had IVF and knew everything, down to the cell count initially, so there no surprises (except of course that I got p/g in the first place!)
I am also new to the site and am really relieved that I found it - the books are way too scary and I really value the true experience of mums who have been through it.
