As my title states, I've been lurking since I actually found out that I was having twins at 10 weeks along. I am now 19 weeks pregnant with identical twin girls. My name is Jamie, I'm 27 years old, been happily married for 5 years to my husband Brian. We have a 3 year old daughter named Meghan, who's excited to be a big sister of twins.

I am glad I've finally come out of the shadows and post. :)

We learned I was pregnant at 8 weeks along, but my doctor held off doing an u/s until 10 weeks and that's when we found out there were 2 in there, to our shock! They are mono/di twins, share a placenta but each have their own sac. Our ultrasound at 18 weeks (last week) revealed two little girls, not a turtle sign in sight! ;) Too bad for my DH there. ;)

I am originally from sunny Orlando, Florida; but went to college at Penn State and met my husband here and we live in Shanksville (yes where Flight 93 crashed). I am now a SAHM, but worked as a RN a doctor's office before I got pregnant with Meghan. We were married in March of 2003 and our daughter Meghan was born 2 years later in April.

We have their names picked out....Faith Elise & Grace Eliza. Faith and Grace are just two names we both love and Eliza and Elise are both of our grandma's names. :)

What part of Orlando are you from? My DH's best friend went to PSU so we have spent quite a bit of time there. We used to live in PA.

Super cute names! Glad you got them picked out early. We still have not settled on our girls name, but our boy has been named as soon as his daddy saw that "turtle sign" :D

Congrats!!!!!!!! I will tell you that every u/s I had I kept hoping that one of the turtles would go back in the shell so I could have at least one more girl LOL. So every u/s I had they always printed several gender pics to make sure I understood that I was having two boys LOL. Hope your pregnancy goes well!

:wavey: You just joined yesterday? If so, and you have been lurking under another name you need to reveal that as it's against TOS to have more than one account. (Sorry to be so heavy on your thread! We have to look out for our other members that haven't been allowed multiple accts.)

I just registered yesterday, but have been reading the posts on and off for awhile on the Expecting board. I didn't know I had to register at the time to read the posts, but this is my first time registering.

Sorry!! No offense meant! Thank you! (What you probably learned from reading here is that we are a tad protective of our members!)
