New here so I thought I would introduce myself :)

Hi everyone!! I am Andie and am 30 weeks pg with twins. We found out the sex of only one so we would still have the element of surprise in the delivery room. So we are having one girl! We have a 2 year old boy, Aidan, who we hope will be a great big brother! I have had no complications thus far. I had an u/s monday at 29w2 days and the babies were both measuring 2 weeks or so ahead and weighing in at 3lbs 10ounces. My cervix was checked THursday and, I am happy to report, is high and closed tightly. Baby A is breech and B is transverse. I would prefer a vaginal birth but have resigned myself to the fact that I will probably get a c-section. That way if I get to deliver vaginally, I'll be pleasantly surprised!Looking forward to meeting all of you

PS Anyone have a great sling or wrap to recommend for twins?

 

I have no experience with slings or wraps but I wanted to say congrats and welcome!

Hi -- welcome!! I'm only a few days behind you.....

The Baby Bargains message board has some really good info on slings and wraps....I don't know much about ones that will hold two babies, but I did get the Ergo Baby Carrier based on the info I read over there. It's supposed to be worlds better than a Bjorn ergonomically (for both you and the baby), and can be used for front (facing in), back or hip carry.

I also have an older child, so I'm guessing I'll need it to carry one twin while my daughter claims one side of the twin stroller! (She'll be done with riding before too much longer, so this will probably work for the few times that I need to take all 3 out for long periods of time....)
