Hi everyone. :) My name is Michelle and I'm new to this forum. My DH and I have been trying to get pregnant since December of 2009. I have PCOS, so it has been a rough journey, but after 6 rounds of Clomid and one miscarriage, I am now 10 weeks pregnant!

I went for an ultrasound at 7w6d and everything was great, one baby with a beautiful heartbeat. But the doctor said the baby only measured 6w6d. I was so worried about the baby being a whole week behind that I begged for another ultrasound. A few days later, I went back for another ultrasound. To my relief, the doctor found the baby right away, measuring 8w1d, only one day behind. And then... she found another baby hiding behind the first one, measuring 8w0d!

So, it looks like I am having twins! My 40-week due date is December 27th, but I know they will come before that. I'm just so excited and terrified all at the same time. I worry constantly about whether they are doing okay. I won't get another ultrasound until June 13th, 11w6d. I did have an appointment today, but it was just to poke my stomach and weigh me. The doctor told me that I have a "nice, large uterus" - I wasn't sure whether to feel complimented or weirded out by that!

I have gained about 5 pounds so far and already my clothes are TIGHT. I have been lucky - no morning sickness, just an occasional weird feeling in my stomach if I go too long between meals. Mostly, I am just hungry all the time and I'm exhausted, although the intense fatigue is starting to let up a little bit. I feel so incredibly blessed just to be at this point.

Anyway, thanks for reading this! I am sure you all will have valuable advice and experience that I can learn from. Nice to "meet" you all!

    -Michelle

Congrats on your twins. I'm so glad to hear you are feeling great. I was the same way. Exhausted and only nauseous when I didn't eat regularly. But by the time 12 weeks rolled around even that was gone. Now at 16 weeks I'm feeling great. Except for the belly I wouldn't even know I was pregnant - which is also a little scary. You will worry every step of the way. That is one thing the ladies here have made me feel better about - you are not crazy. If only we had a little window that we could see into to check on things. Good luck with everything, and I promise time will start going by a little more quickly.

Thanks for saying I not am crazy! I've been trying to tell my DH that I'm not, but I'm not sure he believes me!

momof6: I've already decided that if I can keep them in there and growing until after Thanksgiving, I'll be happy. I'll be 35.3 weeks then. Also, I want to still be pregnant on Thanksgiving so that I have an excuse to eat a ridiculous amount of food! :p
