looked great till I saw what their admission cost is. Even with the 1/2 off it would still cost $126.00 way more than we could afford.

ETA .. why so much ? It's half of 18.75 for adults and 12.75 for the kids. Two adults and 5 kids .. about $56.

 

Yes, I'll be going by myself (eeks) and it'll cost me about $22 (but 2 of my kids are free...yay!).

 

Yeah, I figured about $29 for me and 3 kids. My twins and my Grandson. I may or may not be by myself .. depends on what dad is doing that day.

 

adults $18.75 x 2 = 37.50

children $12.75 x2 = $63.75

together $101.25 - 1/2 = $50.00

What the heck was I doing when I added that up???

I AM going to talk with DH about it. He is "napping" right now. I honestly think he is out for the night. AND that I am losing my mind.

Is there a parking fee? I wonder how far it is from us? I have to work BUT I have a LOT of vaca hours and I might be able to get out a little early. :banana: Looking into it!

I wish they had announced it sooner .. we had other plans for the weekend .. but the boys said they would rather go to the zoo. It IS a great deal. Glad we were able to change our plans.

Ali I don't think Southwick will be as bad as Davis', IMO. Not as much hands on stuff, more walking around and looking.

Let's hope you're right As for the jumping out of a plane...yikes. Kids would love to watch it. We go to a diner at the local airport and watch the planes take off while we eat.

Many, many moons ago...like 30 years ago my mom jumped out of an airplane in Orange. She LOVED it, my dad not so much and he didn't jump..and told her she could do it again after he did it. And he is of the opinion of 'why would I go and jump OUT of a perfectly good airplane?'

 

So who is actually going tomorrow ?? (weather permitting) We'll be there !

Shannon, I know they have done it for the past 3 years at least, around the same time each year. I'm not sure that anyone made it since the weather was so bad that day.
