Some of you may remember that we experienced a loss in the Spring.

I am here to share the happy news that we are expecting a New Baby in March.
I am sixteen weeks and everything is well thus far.

However, I have had SO many mixed emotions. While my husband is very happy that we are just expecting one baby- it has at times felt bittersweet. We have a large family so- the twins were not our first- however, expecting them and having two babies grow and fill my womb was so special and just one little baby has such a different feel!! In reality- I am honestly not sure how my body would have done/would do- carrying twins again- so I see the blessing and the grace- I just thought I would share this here- thinking that maybe some other moms know what I am feeling.

Secondly- I was convinced- totally convinced this baby was a boy and found at yesterday that we are having a girl!!!

So- my emotions have just been all over the map this pregnancy.

I totally obsessed and stressed over naming our girl twins- and now I am heading down that path naming this one. I don't know why I am so much more peaceful naming boys! (we have five boys).

So- if anyone wants to share name ideas for fun- I would appreciate it! I make no promises that we will use them. Names are hard for us right now!

Our children have Bible names except for one twin who has a family name and her twin sister has a loose variation of a bible-themed name.

    Our girls are:
    Abigaile

    Aymee
    Melodee

Congrats on the new baby!!! How wonderful! I love Biblical names, too. My favorites are:

    Susannah
    Miriam
    Mariah

Congrats! My two favorite girl names are Sarah and Emily. Those are the two I was going to really push for if we were having girls. We're having boys though and we quickly chose Joshua and Matthew. I kinda wish we were naming twin B Samuel instead of Matthew but I'm not even about to bring it up now with DH. Plus, my friend made quilts and put the boys names on them.

I have always loved these names: Ruby, Eve, Grace, Ruthie, Olive, Sarah, Rhoda, Emily, Eden, and Julia.

I wanted a Bible themed name for our daughter so these are fresh in my mind. My husband didn't like them, though he did consider Ruby for a second.

Congratulations on your newest miracle! Big families are such a blessing! Sending prayers for a healthy and uneventful pregnancy!

Congrats and my first thought for a name was Grace after reading your comment "so I see the blessing and the grace" Good luck:)

We seem to be due around the same time and we also experienced a loss in the spring. Girls names are much trickier! I have about 4 boy names that I love and not a single girls name!

    Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Thank you so much for the well wishes and name thoughts!
I agree- I have found girl names to tricky. My husband and I struggle to come to agreement more with girl names, I think.

I think we are going to name her:

Elenora (Nora)God is my Light, bright one, shining one. Nora also means woman of honor.
Siobhan (Shi-Vawn) Irish Gaelic/Hebrew name- from the English name Joan who was my Irish paternal grandmother. God is gracious.

So- we deviate from our pattern- but I have peace and we agree!!!!!

    Congratulations!!!

I am due March 9th. When are you due? :)

I found out early (our gender) because when I had my appt. on Tuesday- the midwife couldn't find the heartbeat. (O.My.) I wasn't too worried because I thought I felt the baby move- but it was still a little scary. I knew I would sob in the ultrsound if anything was wrong. I felt so fragile. Thankfully, all was well with a good strong heartbeat and I asked her to check gender since I was 16 weeks and a couple days.

I was convinced, convinced this baby was a boy- so it was a welcome surprise and mental adjustment!!!

(we will confirm at 20 weeks.)
    :)

I'm due the 9th as well! Small world :) In Germany we do ultrasounds at every appointment but my last scan the baby had crossed legs so no luck! I have to go in tomorrow for a scan to determine the location of my placenta and I'm hoping they will be able to see something!

I love the girl names you are considering! Different, but not way out there. Beautiful :)
