New baby not 'looking' like chosen name?

    Have you ever heard of the scenario where at birth a favorite name chosen by parents just does not 'fit' the new baby??

    Just curious if this happens in reality...hmmm.

    My mother in law named my hubby Patrick Sean and intended to call him Sean... tried to for over a month and then decided it didn't "fit" him and he has been Patrick ever since :)

    That's what happened to my nephew...he came out looking just like his granddad (deceased one year previous) and the preselected name was thrown out and he was named after him.

    My brother was an Ian until he was born. My parents called him Kevin....nothing like Ian. They said he didnt look like an Ian
