I was at Sam's Club today and noticed they have big boxes of Gerber 2nd foods - fruit and veggies. I think there were 18 2-packs for $8. And they also had 4 packs of Gerber Graduates mini fruits for $7 or $8. I've never seen these before, so I think they're new. Just an FYI [IMG]

That breaks down to 44 cents per 2pack! I pay $1.77 at Target for a 2pack (organic).

Thanks for the FYI! I think that helps seal the deal that we will be joining sam's. especially since we just found out that baby #3 is on the way!

    Congrats on baby #3 [IMG]

I just asked my mom the other day to check and see if they had baby food there. She said she didn't think they did I never thought to ask her if she checked. We may have to make a trip ourselves since we are getting low on diapers......We were using the smiles but they changed the name to Members Mark and went up on the price [IMG] They are still cheaper there though. I bought both of those items at Sam's this week. The sign that has the price and the breakdown of cost per item on it said something like "one time item" or one time deal...

A couple of months ago they had the tall cans of fruit puffs and the big box of mixed fruits stage 2. I bought those. They had the same "one time" sign. I was bummed to find nothing the next visit, but then yesterday I found the specials that were mentioned in the original post. I did find a "clearance" box of stage 2's. They had two left and marked them both down to $5 and I snatched them right up!

I always buy diapers and wipes at Sam's so I always look for the other special deals when I go...

would you recommend sams over costco? costco doesn't have as much baby stuff but i find that i do get alot of other things for my family there.

For baby stuff, I like Sam's. Costco didn't have the huggies wipes I like, and they didn't have Iron Kids bread. That is just us, we use those so much that it was worth it to keep Sam's. For us, Sam's is closer too, so it won out. I paid $50 for Costco, and only $35 for Sam's. Costco was great and refunded my membership when I called a few days ago when I realized I hadn't been their in 4+ months.

Does Sams take credit cards? I know that at Costco you have to pay with cash, check or debit. DH and I would much rather pay with a credit card.

I saw those at BJ's, too. Plus, I just got a mailer with coupons in it from BJ's and they were in there! Yippee! Even more savings!

oohhh I hope they still have it! I'm going to check out Sam's today. I haven't been going there b/c they never had any of the baby stuff I use. I actually find a lot more stuff at BJ's- they have my formula, baby food, sposie bibs etc
