New and saying "hi"

    Hi everyone -- I've been lurking and learning so far, but wanted to more officially say hi to you all. I can see I will learn a lot around here! Anyway, I'm Jen, 34 and the mother of 3 boys already Gabe (10), Adrian,(7) and Donovan (5)... and now am expecting twins! My new husband Matt, 27, and I have been married for almost one year and we had a chemical pregnancy on our previous cycle, and then got pg immediately. I had ovulation pains two days in a row which wasn't the norm for me so when I first saw my dr. I told him I thought i may have released 2 eggs. of course, i know that doesn't have to be the case, but i thought it was funny that i had a gut feeling about twins from the beginning. Other than all of that, I am a figure-skating coach and still "on the ice" but not doing much of anything except chasing students around :p I can't believe I am 9 weeks along and already showing so much -- this is going to be interesting....

    Looking forward to getting to know you all better...

    Congratulations!!! I had a "feeling" I was carrying twins too....Everywhere I looked, I saw twin girls...and here I am, pregnant with girls!!!

    Thank you ALL so much for such a warm welcome!! I can't believe how much different this pregnancy is from my others and I'm so happy there's such a great community like this to learn from each other and those that have been through it. I love seeing everyones baby and kid pics -- they are adorable! And yes, I am hoping at least *one* is a girl! Ideally, believe it or not, we'd like this to be boy/girl because then DH would have one of each biologically (he's a great stepdad, but he really wants a boy "of his own" -- and this will be my last pregnancy barring any surprises down the line! :rolleyes:) But I'd be happy with 2 girls ;)

    Carrie -- welcome right back atcha! Congrats!

    I was showing early, too! It's amazing how subsequent pregnancies show early - especially with multiples!
