Needing advise

[SIZE=12pt]Okay ladies I know some of you have been thru this and I need some advise! I am 18 weeks tomorrow and very low pressure which has now made for thrombossed hemorrhoid #2. On January 1, my OB sent me to the ER to go ahead and have the first removed as I was in alot of pain and had waited awhile before I said anything as I had one with my last pregnancy and the doc who did the procedure to take out the blood clot was awful and it was very painful. So when I called he sent me right up to have it taken care of.. no fun being in the ER though (but the new doc was much better). I have been following orders to a "T" and as of yesterday morning I am back in the same stupid boat. I mean I am not lifting anything as my family is doing alot to ensure momma is taken care of. I am taking colace religiously and eating good. Is there anything other than tucks, preparation H, and sitz baths that I can do to help this go away without having it cut open again. I am in bearable pain right now. I see the doc on Monday but I can't imagine doing this every 2 weeks for 4 1/2 more months! [/SIZE]

 

I'm sorry, Momma. I have no advice, just wanted to send some :hug:'s your way. It doesn't sound like a very pleasant situation for you and I hope the doctor finds a way to make you feel more comfortable.

By the date on this message, you have probably healed (hopefully!!!).. but in case someone else needs this information:
I had an external, thrombosed hemorhoid last year. My doctor said we could excise it... or just wait and it would eventually resolve on its own. Admittedly the first 3-5 days were extremely painful, but after a week the pain was very little and eventually it receded. This may not be true for all cases since I'm not a doctor, but I know it applied to mine. Here is to hoping no one else needs this info!

 

Yes I am healed I have had them removed again, but to be honest I would much rather be going thru that right now than the TTTS we are dealing with and the roller coaster we are on.
