Need the names of some of these toys.

I want to get some toys for Tyler that he can play with while hes sitting on the floor. ( when i say sitting i mean in like a month or two when hes learing to sit and sitting well on his own he can have something in front of him like the fisher price baby grand piano) When the boys were little we had something but i cant remember the name of it. We dont have it anymore so I want to get a few things.

Opinions on a few GREAT toys would be wonderful!

 

I would get a toy that transitions as they grow. We got one of those fisher price tables. You can simply take all the legs off and it sits flat on the floor. When they start wanting to pull up you can move it into the table. We have another toy called "Sit to Stand." Same concept. This one has little handles, though. We used to put their bumbo chairs right up to it and they were level with it. Now, it is in the full upright position and they can stand up and play with it.

 

One of the toys both of mine loved, especially when they were learning to sit is a Fisher Price bongo set. They can bang on it and it makes music and then you can move the drums around and they can roll it and it's supposed to encourage them to crawl.

 

We had that table too. Great toy!

ETA...I think ours was Leapfrog though.

 

Thank you for reminding me I do have the Laugh and Learn table thats one of the things that I saved. Dh reminded me last night I also saved the Fisher Price Play Wall, Last night on CL I found a Drop and Roar Dino. For only 10.00 and it has 7 balls too. So excited!!!

Anymore ideas for toys are more then welcome.. I know there alot of new stuff out there since the boys were babies.

 

I have heard great things about the Fisher Price Little Superstar Sing-Along Stage.

 

we have the fisherprice laugh and learn house and my 7 and almost 3 yr old still fight over it! :lol:

 

When my DD was younger she loved the Fisher Price Roll A Rounds toys. She had the dinosaur (that I think someone else mentioned) and the hippo that she could walk behind and pick up the balls. She also had a jungle set and a gumball machine - and probably a million of those little balls and cubes. She absolutely loved them - they were all over the house. She also really loved the Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Learning Home - she is now 4 and still plays with it.

 

The Move and Crawl ball by Vtech is great for this stage. I just got it for my girls who are 5 1/2months and they are close to sitting unsupported. They love it! Walmart has it for around $14.

 

I really wish we had gotten the FP Laugh and Learn House. I think the boys would have really loved it. Mine also liked the Leapfrog drum and now they like it b/c it does the alphabet (which they are obsessed with). I actually just went on CL and looked for baby toys to see what was out there.
