Need Suggestions for Big Brother Gift

Hey Girls,

I am not really sure where to post this question :unsure: but, I am going for a planned C-Section in 2 weeks on Oct 7th, I have an 8 years old son, who is about to turn 9, just 20 days after twins will be born. I wanted to take some gift to the hospital so i can give it to my son from the twin.

Please give me some suggestions on what should i get for him, I was thinking of T-shirts but most of them are for toddlers. Can you please help me out and let me know some ideas what to get for him, or what you did for your older child who was having twin Sibling since i have only 2 weeks left to get something for him

We gave our sons a trampoline from the baby. It was a big enough gift for them to be overwhelmed, and it kept them busy while I breastfed .
If you want something inexpensive I would go for a nice book (I always recommend "Tales of a fourth grade nothing" or "Superfudge" both are about the joys and bad times of a big brother, my oldest boy loves them, he is 8). If you want something huge, a real diversion, some kind of console is the big hit at mine (Nintendo DS I think). The other set of parents got that for them a few months ago and they are still obsessed with it (I am not a big console fan!).

Wow, That sounds like a good idea thank you so much, i just might do that if nothing else comes to mind

 

M husband brought our son a Wii I brought him a shirt and some books.

LOL!!! If we ever decided to have another, MY DH would want the Wii...lol!

Thank you girls sooooooooooo much, i really do appreciate it. i hv ordered a t-shirt (http://t-shirts.cafepress.com/item/big-brother-of-twins-white-tshirt/292992559) and also will give something else i guess, my son already has a wii and our old digital camera i had given it to him couple of months ago, so that is out of the list, will hv to think of something else with a t-shirt

You can get a Big Brother shirt in his size through the Twinstuff store. They're quite a bit less expensive than some of the other sites.
