Need some help with a boy name...

DH and I have been finally sitting down to decide on some names...DH was not ready until now, he always said that we have lots of time...but now we are having issues and times is running out (I will be 32 weeks on Sunday)

For a boy we would like him to have the middle name Malcolm (after my father). So I had come up with Nicholas Malcolm, it sounds good and I like the name. DH suggested Joshua Malcolm, and I thought that this name was not bad either.

About a week ago DH comes home with a list (most names I did not like) and his favorite was GAGE! I personally really dislike this name.

Tonight he tells me he has picked a girls name, but not decided on a boys name. I thought we had decided on a girls name but once again he changed his mind. He now feels that Nicholas and Joshua are too common!! and that it is hard finding names that sound good with Malcolm.

If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. Like I mentioned earlier the 2 names I thought we were deciding on were:

Nicholas Malcolm
Joshua Malcolm

I love both of your choices.
Tell him Nicholas and Joshua are CLASSIC not common.
I'm not sure if it's because you like those two or what, but with Malcolm I keep coming up with other classic names.

I have twin boys. We had a hard time coming up with 2 boy names. For whatever reason there seems to be so many more girl names!! I picked only one boy name as I was so sure I was having twin girls-haha, they fooled me!!!! I chose the name Griffin as it is such a strong name and not one you see too often. I am a RN in the NICU and see lots of babies and have only come across one other Griffin in 5 years. I think Griffin Malcolm has a nice ring to it.
