sophia has two molars coming in at the same time...this afternoon i noticed she felt warm..she had 101 temp..then 102 ..now its 100... she is pulling on her gums.. bad.. but she is eathing... drinking..playing..good spirits.. so do u think the fever could be caused from the molars.. believe me i know if it continues i will call the md..but i heard this is common..

I think it's the molars. Mine always ran a fever in that range when they were teething. Hope she feels better soon.

It's really very common. Besides teething may cause diarrhea, vomiting, rashes and many other bad symptoms. Thankfully my girls did not have any of that, but fever.

rachel also ran fever when cutting molars and so if the fever is responding to tylenol then i wouldnt worry about it. fever isn't anything these days it seems, unless it's unresponsive to treatment with tylenol or motrin... and is not accompanied by other symptoms..

sounds like it's time to pull out all the frozen fruits/veggies for them to start eating. mine love frozen peas right from the bag. also frozen cantelope and frozen blueberries. they also love those munchkin fresh food feeders with an ice cube inside. we call it an Icee and they love it.

Definitely sounds like it's due to her teething. :hug99: Sophia!
