    Hi,
I know this has been posted before, but when I did a search I couldn't find what I was looking for. I only have a little time so I thought I'd just post it again.
I am looking for some new table foods. Right now the kids will eat eggs, pancakes, waffles, french toast, cereal, grilled cheese, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, chicken quesadillas (sp?), ravioli, pasta, deli ham and fish sticks. They have not been big fans of meat. They do ok with vegtables and love fruit. I am looking for new ideas for lunch and dinner (main courses). We try to give them what we are eating for dinner, but that doesn't always work.

    Thanks!!!!! [IMG]

Any kind of fresh fruit & veggies.
    Cheese cubes
    yogurt
bread sticks (I let the kids dip them in spag. sauce)
    soup & crackers
    canned pasta
    those toddler smasher potato
I pretty mucha gave mine what we had for dinner, I feel that they have to try everything. I have read that a baby needs to taste each food 10 times before you should say they don't like it, so give them what ever.
My girls new kick is chips & dip, but they are older than yours. I've been known to spread soft cheese on some wheat crackers as a meal when they won't eat.
Good luck, they don't bore that easy, we do!

    A few dinner suggestions:

    Meatloaf
    Shephard's pie
Beef or pork roast in crock pot so it's nice and tender
Healthy Choice soups - my girls love chicken tortilla & garden veggie

We are in the same boat. We have been serving the babies what we eat for dinner, but DD is not too keen on meats yet. They also don't do well with chunky things on a spoon, like veggie soup.
I guess the key is not to give up.
These are some good suggestions... anyone else?

My girls have always loved fish. Especially salmon. We're having salmon with a sweet glaze on it for dinner tonight. They love it.

And for meat, at that age I made a lot of chicken and turkey meatballs (often with spinach in them and simmered in broth -- they loved these).

meatballs are the best! we're also eating peanut butter and jelly on ww now! yay.

i make salmon muffins from canned salmon ... just mix with cheese and put them in muffin pans for like 15 minutes. My girls love it. They are just now starting to come around on meats other than meatballs/meatloaves.

Pizza, homemade, is also another one they have started to like, but I haven't made it much.
