Need new bouncy

I had a rainforest one but the battery broke and it no long works I am looking for opinions on what to replace it with.

I would like something similar that plays music and vibrates. I also like the tou bar with lights and movement.

any ideas??

 

Hmmm you know? After the batteries ran out the first time [which was probably during the first couple weeks] we never replaced them. Instead, we just put them in the seats and handed them toys or bounced it with our foot :lol: Seemed to work. At around 6 month, my girls completely outgrown the bouncy seat and now it just collects dust.

We used the flinstone mobile [aka excersaucer] for about a month more.. since then they've just tried to climb out of it or now, they just pull up on it and try to push it around. I'd suggest looking into an item on craigs list so you don't pay too much for something you'll probably only use for another few months. Then they're just too busy to stay in one place at a time ^_^

 

I made a mistake in my first post. I have the ocean wonders bouncer.. sorry. I am searching craigslist for one. Not going to buy new. Just wanted to know what everyone liked the best. Ty LOVES his seat and we take it everywhere.

 

I'd sell you ours if we lived closer! My boys loved it too. I would probably just get another one like that.

ETA: I just looked online and there is nothing with such a good activity bar. I would get the ocean one again or the rainforest one. We have the rainforest crib toy and they really like it.

I was thinking the same thing I found a rainforest bouncer for $15.00.. It looks like it has a great toy bar. That was tys fav thing

 

I had two rainforest bouncies. The babies loved the lights and music, plus it was a nice deep seat so they even napped there sometimes in the early months. We loved them BUT both of ours eventually broke. One started making a terrible clicking noise when the little monkey would go up and down and the lights in the waterfall on the other one stopped spinning. Very disappointing. They both loved playing with the little bird that hangs down, though!

 

We used the Bright Starts blue bouncie seats. You can find them from 20 to 25 dollars. Have tried email the manufacture and asking if they have a replacement part. On one of ours it quit playing and they sent us a free replacement it only took a week I think.

Same thing happened with ours and that little monkey can get darn annoying! :grr: We haven't put the activity bars on either of our bouncers in months and the girls enjoy playing with toys that we hand to them (and then play fetch with them). We have the rain forest one and a Boppy Bouncer. Each girl has a preference so that worked out well.
