Our daycare doesn't provide lunch so we are getting stuck in a rut with what to pack them! We try to pack something from each food group, finger foods if possible, and as little mess as possible involved for the daycare staff.
This is examples of some of their meals (we are very lucky they do have a microwave):

    Cheese quesadilla
    peas
    pineapples

    PB and J
    mandarin oranges
    carrots
    yogurt or cheese sticks

Leftovers from supper if they really seemed to enjoy it;)

They also get 2 snacks of crackers, apples and pb, string cheese, ect. provided from the daycare and they also only get milk unless we send along something different.

    Help! and Thanks!!:D

See, I would give them stuff that they would definitely make a mess of. . .spaghetti, hummus/pita, just so I didn't have to feed it at the house.

But since you're nice, what about:

    turkey/chicken/bologne sandwiches
    crackers
    pretzels
cold tuna casserole (tunafish, peas, cheese, pasta, a little mayo or miraclewhip to hold it all together)
fruit (banana, apple slices, orange slices, blueberries)
    hard boiled eggs
    other veggies, celery, cucumber, beans
