The twins are about 2 and a half and have slept thru the night since 7 month old (of course there was an occasional wake up)
but lately DS is asking for us several time a night, last night seemed like 10 times. sometime he is looking for something like his blanket or his cow he sleeps with and when i go in its at the other end of the crib and he is searching for it crying. other times he is curled up and crying for his blankets that he has gotten out of and needs to be coved back up.
this i have no problem with, but now he is calling and than crying if we dont go in and when we do he is just wanting to hold our hand or once he sees one of us he will fall back to sleep. but than 10 minutes late does it again.
    Questions
Sould we CIO with him again like i did when he was 7 months old?
but i would hate to make him cry if he just needed to be covered up KWIM
i ended up leaving the bathroom light on as a night light and he did sleep the rest of the night not sure if he just finally got tired or if that helped. i will leave it on again tonght and see if it helps.
    and ideas?

LOL! We do CIO for any night wakings that aren't really important. Usually if they wake up and are fussing or calling me I'll go in once and check on them just to make sure they aren't sick or hurt. One night Kayci had somehow ended up under her bed but was trying to sit up and wasn't awake enough to realize she couldn't because she was under it! I had to fix that! lol If they are just wanting attention or it's something silly, I tell them it's still night time and I'll see them in the morning. After that I let them fuss unless something changes. Before they were able to cover themselves, I just made sure they were dressed warmly enough to not need it. I didn't go in to cover up, give more kisses, move stuff, etc. I only go in to fix something legitimate like they needed medicine or something. At this point (my youngest are 3.5) nobody calls me for silly things anymore. Just decide how you want it to go and don't waiver. They'll learn! If all he needs is a night light, that's great!

 Sorry - you are correct. I have no idea what to say. I tended to go in more AFTER they could talk!! Little manipulators. Mine also needed to be "cozied" quite a bit and that's annoying!

They do start the "scared" thing around 2.5, so the bathroom light might be a good idea! I hope it works again!!
