Need Help with 1st Year Birthday Invite

Hi All,

I'm making the babies' 1 year birthday card and am drawing a blank as far as sayings go. Can you guys share your ideas on what to write on the front of the card? So far I have

"Let's Celebrate! We're turning one! Come and see how far we've come!"

But I don't know, if you have something more clever, I'd appreciate it.

Also where is everyone getting their cards printed? I looked shutterfly and walmart and didn't see any designs I loved.

We're having a football "First Down" theme for our bday next week. I made the invites myself on Publisher and made them look like tickets to a football game. It took me all of 15 minutes to make it...then I just saved it as a jpeg and ordered them through Costco...it cost me 39 cents for each 5x7 sized print. Can't beat that!

SweetpeaG - I love love love it!! I am going to steal your idea. I have been searching for the perfect invite and I think that's it. What a clever idea.

 

We have decided to do, two different themes, one for her and one for him. I think the invitation is going to say

'Double the cake, Double the candles
Double the fun, Adalyne and Colton are turning One'

Not for sure yet, but thats what Im thinkin.

SweetpeaG, I think I may steal it too. That invite was SO creative!!!!!!

 

I just got some nice computer paper with balloons on it and printed them from my home computer I said:

Twice the cake
Twice the fun
Emilie and Trevor are turning ONE!!!

I got that idea from TS here, I think it was dfaut.
