My girls (9 months) love being side by side in a stroller. I have the Jeep double umbrella, which I love, but need a few more features...
    1. side by side
    2. basket underneath
    3. sturdy yet easy to fold and get in back of SUV
I appreciate all your suggestions!! Let me know which ones you like and which ones you hate!

We have the Peg Perego Twin Aria and I love, love, LOVE it! It's a little skinnier than other SBSs, so it fits easily through all doors. It has snack trays for the girls and a cup holder for me. A big basket underneath (though if you put a bunch of heavy stuff in there it tends to drag). We use the basket for our jackets while we're shopping. It folds and unfolds in a snap and I can easily lift it into the back of our mini van, cuz it only weighs 14 lbs!! Woo hoo!

BTW, there was no way we were going to afford one of these, but I lucked out and found someone selling one on Craigslist and got it for just over $100. Ours is the 2006 version seen here. And, yes, just like cars, Peg Perego comes out with a new "model" Aria every year. Crazy, huh?! :p

I have a twin safari TT by InStep, I want to say. It rolls so easy over ANYTHING, b/c it is a jogging stroller, but I use it for everyday.
It is a lot cheaper than the aria, but a little wider. Fits easily into my Altima trunk.

I have the Graco duoRIDER. Side by side, lays down completely or up completely, light wieght to fold and lift into an SUV (I have a Jeep), fits through doors has a basket under each side and was only $109!!!

I think they can use it until they are 3 or 4

I agree. I have the Twin Aria and it is lighter than my diaper bag......... no joke!

I was very lucky and a friend passed it on to me. :)

I LOVED my combi twin savvy. I just gave it away to another twin mommy. It was a great stroller!

When I was in the UK...I bought a MacClaren...I love it!! So easy to put up and down, has handles on the sides to help lift in and out of the trunk...we have a Hyundai Tuscan. Mine came with a rain cover (since I bought it in the UK..lol). has baskets underneath and pockets on the hood covers. It runs smooth and fits through all the doors I've come across!

Me too!! Folds so easily, fits into car well, has baskets and the snack cups are SO important!!! You can push it with one hand easy.

We have this one too. I use this one for outings to the zoo, etc....but my everyday work horse is a tandem (better for grocery shopping, etc).

My biggest gripe about ALL side-by-side strollers is that the specs state that they fit through a standard door way, but they don't mention that a STICK OF BUTTER is required for that to happen. <_<

I have yet to meet a door I couldn't navigate (no stick of butter, no multiple angle-entry attempts required)

ETA: I had the Jeep SBS before upgrading to this stroller. Size-wise, this stroller is very comparable to the jeep when folded....I think this stroller is easier to get in and out of your vehicle because it has a handle on the side to carry it by when collapsed.

I have the combi SBS and I'm the grandmother. It tri folds very easily, is extremely lightweight and I can open it and close it in a heart beat and lift it to the trunk of my vehicle. Since I'm older, I needed something that was easy to handle and the combi fit the bill. It doesn't have snack trays, but does have storage underneath and in the rear of the seats. It fits through a regular size door and maneuvers easily. If the boys weren't already a year old I would have purchased a Peg pergo aria that I saw this weekend that BRU was closing out. It had been reduced from $300.00 to $150.00 and it had the snack trays, etc. I don't know if any other BRU are having sales, but the one is south Alabama had $170.00 PNP's reduced to $65 and $70.00 and they had all kinds of big baby items reduced like swings, bouncers, etc. People were snapping them up in a hurry.
