I would love to expand our breakfast repertoire :) They eat dry cheerios and fruit almost every morning. Sometimes I make pancakes with fruit in it, sometimes they have yogurt or eggs, but only one will eat eggs. I want them to get the whole grains, we usually do bread later...any other good and easy ideas?

    We do:
    -scrambled eggs
    -yogurt
    -cheerios w/ milk---They LOVE it!
    -oatmeal
    -pancakes
    -waffles
    -french toast
    -cereal bars
    -fruit

The pancakes, etc are mostly just frozen items. They LOVE the mini pancakes.

Most of our breakfast ideas are the same as previous posters, but you also might want to try french toast too.

[SIZE=10pt]Ours are basically the same as pp's:
    French toast sticks
    Waffles
    Yogurt
    Cinnamon toast
    Eggs
    Cereal with milk
    Oatmeal
    Pancakes
    Cereal Bars

I also give fruit and milk each morning as well. I also try not to give them the same thing twice in a week (unless it's a crazy week)

my parenting class teacher says they should still be having oatmeal at least once/day. since mine can't serve themselves yet and get bored w/me doing it this is kind of tricky. but, we really try to do it nearly every day. i put all different fruits (and sometimes eggs) in it. for finger foods i also give them cereals and fruits. but i try to get oatmeal in them every day.

I give the boys alot of oatmeal, they love it! Maple & brown sugar is their favorite but they like the fruit and cream too. It has alot of fiber in it, which is good for them.

We do all the above and I like to add these:

    Waffles with yogurt
Yogurt in the bowl with cereal instead of milk (less messy)
    cottage cheese and fruit
You can add cheese, onions, peppers and diced tomatoes to the eggs
Tortillas with cool whip and fresh fruit (or you can use yogurt and roll them up)

Quiche -- ham, veggies, or add potato and it is a fratatta.
put bananas in the frying pan THEN add the pancake mixture. or add frozen blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, etc.

other cereals like mini-wheats (plain), whole wheat puffs.

I love the quiche idea... I need to find some easy recipes for it!

Mine unfortunately don't like eggs, although I keep trying to offer it occasionally, but usually for lunch.

They mostly get two of the following

    fruit
    cheerios
yogurt (I thicken it with baby cereal and mix it with some fruit jar, but they've started to refuse when I try to feed them)
    muesli with milk
    frozen waffles (whole grain)
french toast (usually frozen although I've made some)
homemade pancakes (with or without fruit, we just make a batch and freeze them)
oatmeal (the non sugar added kind)

So yes, pretty much the same as everyone else, lol. I save bread for lunch also.
