Ok so my girls will by 2 next month and I am trying to figure out what theme to have at their party. Last year I did the Disney Princess theme. I am completely clueless this year. Also I have a friend who constantly feels like she has to compete with me so just to avoid any comments from I can not do a Tinkerbell theme either (she did it for her daughter's first b-day). Thanks in advance.

what do the twins like? I would take my lead from them. if they like fairies/pixies and you don't want to do tinkerbell, you can always do a fairy theme.

ours are turning 3 and we are doing mickey/minnie because they love them right now. I can't remember what we did for their 2nd...not sure we had a theme, actually (just did a family party).

maybe check out some party websites and see what inspires?

We did the Disney Princess theme for their 2yo party. For their first b-day, we did a garden theme with flowers and butterflies. You might go to www.birthdayexpress.com to get some ideas. They have just about everything you could think of. My girls love Mickey/Minnie, Curious George, My Little Pony, etc.

    Good luck!!

Hi, mine will be two in March and we are doing The Backyardigans theme. They love them and the colors of the party supplies are so bright and colorful. We ordered them online.

I would say choose what they like. Do they have a fav character? Blue, Elmo, Disney, I like the fairy theme... you could make it more like Mideval princess/fairy type of theme?

Last year I just did the whole "We're 1" theme. This year I am thinking The Wiggles!!! We are going to see them for their birthday so it might be fun!
Go with what they like, and who cares what your friend did!!!

I appreciate the ideas. As to doing what they like that's the problem. My girls do not watch TV so there is no particular character that they like. Which makes it really hard to pick something. I am certainly keeping my eyes open for something special.
