I have been researching twin double strollers and am completely LOST! I am looking for a twin stroller that can accomodate newborns/infants and transition into a toddler stroller. I would like to get a double stroller that is suitable for walking/jogging (like a BOB).
Any suggestions- I am beginning to think that what I want is not possible.
    Thanks!

Have you looked into a Valco? If I had the money, I would get one. We have a sbs Chicco Trevi twin. It's like an umbrella stroller and doesn't accommodate infant seats.

I second the VALCO........IF you plan on having any more children, I would suggest buying the jump seat also (clips on top of the side by side).

Each seat holds up to 45 pounds (if I remember correctly)), My 4 (almost 5) year old twin still sit in it comfortable (as does their younger brother)......and it is still a breeze to push.

You can buy an adapter to hold a car seat (but NOT 2 car seats).....but it does come with "head holders" to help hold the infants heads in the correct spot.

    I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE VALCO!!!!!!

For what you are looking for, I was leaning towards the Bumbleride Indie Twin. Not so great for full out jogging, but it does have locking front wheels and are air tires - not plastic. We ended up going a cheaper lightweight route with seats that fold all the way back because I was afraid of the cost right now (I'm not working and may not be for a while). Good luck!!

I bought the Baby Trend Navigator Double Jogging Stroller with 2 snugride 32 infant carseats. While it's not high end it serves it's purpose. You can fit 2 infant seats, it has 2 swivel wheels in the front and you can lock them for running, 2 cup holders per person. While it is pretty bulky it does fit in the back of my Sienna van with a small area to spare for diaper bag or a another umbrella stroller. I take the kids on walks and my 2 year old like to walk like the other kids and when she get tired she sits in the front of the stroller on the foot rest (granted this is not it's purpose and not really safe - we walk pretty slow and discuss frequently if she wants to get off). I use the Baby Trend Double snap and go for when we run store errands and Dr visits. GL!

We have the Bumbleride Indie Twin and love it! I do a lot of walking with it and some light jogging and I find it performs very well in those scenarios. It also fits through doors easily and folds down nicely. You can only fit one carseat in it at a time but the seats recline fully so you could put newborns in them. We purchased the Bumbleride about six months after they were born so I have no personal experience using it with newborns.

I have a Baby Jogger City Elite and am very happy with it - here are the things that I like:

-Reclines nearly flat (is supposed to be suitable for a newborn, although I used a double SNG until the babies were 9 months old)
-SUPER easy to maneuver one handed - great to have a hand free to grab my two other kiddos
-SUPER easy to fold - literally one step - grab the handles in the seat and pull up
-Awesome sunshades that provide excellent coverage and operate independently

The only downside - for me - about this stroller is that it's pretty hefty. It has not been a problem for me or my husband, but it would be a struggle for my mom, for example, to load in the car when she is keeping my kiddos.

It will only accept one infant carrier. There is an available toddler jumpseat or glider board for a third child. Definitely suitable for walking and the front wheels do lock, but as a sometimes serious jogger, I really HATE jogging with any stroller.

Good luck with your decision - I know it can be agonizing!
