    Hi there,

My twin girl has reflux and whenever I change her or put her down 30 min. after feeding her she spits up her food. I'm in need of a reflux sleep wedge or positioner. I've looked around and really there are only a few out there that I have seen, and they don't seem to be very inclined like I would expect. Can any of you mamas recommend one or have tried one that you really like. I found one while I was browsing the web and it was by pollywog (sp) and it seems like it was almost too much of an incline and the others that I've found don't seem like much.

Thank you sooo much! I really need to get one by tomorrow....my poor little girl can't keep her food in her belly :(

You should check out the Tucker sling www.tuckersling.com. HTH!

I found a wedge at BRU that went under the mattress. The thickest part of it was probably about 3 inches, but it did do the trick. You can also raise the head of the crib by placing the legs on books.

We just tilted the whole crib, and it didn't really help . . . I read a lot of research that said the whole sleeping on an incline thing has not been shown to make a difference, but we felt the need to try anything we could since our babies desperately needed to grow! Good luck, and hope it helps for you.

Take a folded blanket under the crib mattress to elevate the head, or use a bouncer. We used our Papasan baby seat to get through the reflux projectile stage.

I bought the foam one from BRU that has a bit of an incline on it. And I have heard good things about the Tucker Sling. We were having issues too even after keeping one of my boys upright for 30 mins--so I went to 45 minutes with him and that really helped.

I got ours at BRU - they were called "inclined to sleep" by the Especially for Baby brand.

We bought the Tucker Sling/Wedge and it has worked wonderfully for my daughter who has severe reflux. The Tucker people are really nice and will give you a twin discount if you need two. They can also send the wedges overnight.

I liked these the best because they're at a 30 degree angle (I didn't find any others that were this steep) and they keep the baby from sliding because of the sling. I have tried multiple times putting my daughter on her back or just raising the crib mattress, but she either slides down, rolls over and hits the side of the crib, or screams (if flat on her back).

    Good luck!
