nearly done with christmas shopping!

I've been spending the last few days doing some major online christmas shopping. I decided to get "proud grandma of twins" type items for most of our family members so that made it really easy. I feel so accomplished now. Too bad I haven't done much of my twin baby shopping yet, but I'm going to wait until my shower next week before starting.

DH and I decided that this year everyone is getting gift cards. It maybe a bit impersonal, but hey we have a good excuse!

 

My good friend is watching my kids 2 days a week for me right now and she and her husband do professional photography. I'm going to send picture outfits over one day soon and she's going to do the pictures and I usually frame up nice pictures of the boys as grandparent Christmas gifts. I think I'm going to send over red plaid pajamas and red stocking hats and have her do Christmas cards for me too with that picture.

What a great idea! It's great that your friend can do that for you!

I actually finished half of my holiday shopping and felt excted about that!!! I'm frustrated that everything in the big toy book from Target is not available on line, but a friend of mine said she would pick up what else I needed. My hubby said he would take a day and do all the family gifts this year, so hopefully, I should be covered...
