I dont know whats going on.....but my LO's naptime is getting sooner and sooner.....they get up between 6-6:30 and nap at 8:30-10-11 then they go back down at 1:30 to 3-3:30...it has been this way for months.....now this past couple of weeks.....I cant seem to hold them off till there naptime schedule....like today they got up at 10 and I had to stick them up at 1:15 cause alls they did was whine, cry, rub there eyes and sat by the steps (they do that when there tired)....when other people are around they are no problem , Im thinking they are bored of me or something....I even try to do different things to keep them occupied but nothing.....(they are 15 months)

I think it's pretty normal for kids at that age to go through some sleep changes... and it sounds like you're doing a great job reading their sleep cues and putting them down even if it's only been a little while since their last nap. Mine have finally made the 1-nap transition, but sometimes my DD still needs to go down only 2 hours after her 3-hour nap!

And they're not bored of you!!! They think you're a rock star (we have to enjoy that fact since soon enough they will be embarresed and annoyed with us!).

I agree, they definately aren't bored of you. They are probably alot more active now and maybe going through a growth spurt and it's wearing them out. :lazy: Let them sleep, they'll fall back into routine when they've had enough.

Nope, definitely not tired of you. They could be going through a growth spurt and they are learning so much at this age, they are just probably tired. You are doing a fabulous job in listening to their cues and giving them the sleep they need.

I also agree - some days will be better than others, but they are going through a lot developmentally. If they're tired, I always say let them sleep. My children's sleep rules my life, but I think that we are all better for it! :) A routine will re-emerge as soon as this developmental spurt passes.
