DD sleeps 730 to 6 and naps from 830-10 and 130-300 VERY CONSISTENTLY
    DS sleeps 730 to between 5 and 530:( Naps from 830 to 930:( and 130 to 230:(
We are working on this, he used to be as consistent as his sister about naps but never about the wake up time:(
This used to be the opposite, DD was the bad sleeper and DS was awesomely consistent...about the time she started walking......
    VERY curious question to all.....
Did the nap problems start around the time they were learning to walk? I read this in a book and want to make sure it's true....

Sleep can definitely be impacted by them learning something new. When my DS was learning to walk, he would spend part of his nap walking back and forth in his crib and then go to sleep.

Maybe it's not so much the act of walking as just getting a little older and going toward the 1 nap transition? Two 1 hour naps a day are still very good, IMO!

I think walking and standing both had a negative effect on my guys sleep. I did CIO, and that lasted for a few weeks. They started waking again and it coincided with starting to walk.

When mine would learn any big milestone (sitting, crawling, walking) their naps would be affected. Who wants to sleep when you have so much to do??? LOL Anyway, it could be a phase or teeth or the one nap transition. Just keep with it and if they keep changing it may be time to adjust their schedule.

He is doing better, was all about sleep training again, not going in there right away when I hear him.....would be nice if you only had to do that once and not revert back all the time.....
so after only 2-3 days of not going in when I hear him in the am and naps he got it....is sleeping better for both:) Yeah!

Can you push their naps out a bit? Maybe do a 9am nap and a 2pm nap?
