napping question

my Lo's have recently dropped their morning nap!
they wake up around 8ish and nap about 3 hours later. they eat at 11 and are generally falling asleep while eating that bottle. that nap is only about 30 minutes. they fall asleep about 2 again and one LO naps for about an hour, hour and a half and the other LO only naps for about 45 mins. they then go to bed at 8. so as i see it, they are on a 3-3-4 schedule.

is this ok that they aren't napping that long during the day? they sleep 12 hours at night.

 

I'm not an experienced mom so take what I have to say with a grain of salt but I would think if your babies are STTN for 12 hours, and if they aren't overly cranky during the day, then their nap schedule is suiting them perfectly. In fact I'm jealous! Brandon woke me up at 4:30am this morning....and 4:40am a couple of days ago...it's driving me INSANE!!

 

Do they generally seem happy? As long as they are not too cranky & they are sleeping well at night, I think it's fine. Not ideal for you, since you are getting no time for yourself during the day, but okay for them. I think it's probably a phase they are going through & they may start napping longer again eventually.

 

they eye rub duing breakfast but once they begin playing it's like a thing of the past.
it was such a struggle to get them to nap...tried before they were cranky, rocking them, etc.

once 11 comes, they are so tired, their bottle knocks them out.
i rock them for a few mins and they pass right out.

they sleep great at night. one LO has a harder time; he wakes up anywhere between 2-4 times before my DH and i go to bed for the night.
