Napping in Crib?

When did you start your babies napping in the crib only? Or did you at all? Thanks so much

Mine stated at 3 months, right after they started sleeping 12-13 hours at night.

 

We started around 2 months. Before that they would only sleep on me at night. I had one on my chest and the other in the crook of my arm. They couldn't stand the pack and play.

 

We just started today. They would sleep in the cribs at night but during the day they would nap in their swings. However they are too big now so we started naps today in their cribs. It was rough but I am sure it was take a few days to get adjusted. They did nap but not as long as they normally do.

 

Mine started napping in their cribs at 3 1/2 months. It wasn't easy at first. They used to nap in their bouncy seats so to ease the transition I actually put the bouncy seats in their cribs for a few days to get them used to it.

 

I started napping them in their cribs at 2mo. They've been sleeping in our room at night in a co-sleeper until about 2 weeks ago when we moved them to their cribs for nighttime sleeping. I don't know if napping in the cribs helped, but I must say it was a VERY easy transition to night cribs so I'm thinking there's something to getting them used to it.

 

The kids room is right next door to ours and were in the crib from day 1. At first both in one crib and then to their own cribs in the same room.

Probably about 7 months. We didn't rush it, but eventually they were just more comfortable in their beds.

 

we're just transitioning to that now. (4 months). i can get them to do their am nap in there if i swaddle them, but they still won't do the late morning and afternoon ones. i think they like being all flexed up in the bouncy seat and swing. we're working on it though. good luck!

 

Mine never wanted to, they would cry and fuss endlessly. So when they were from 0-7 months they napped in either their swings or bouncies... and from 8 months on they napped on the couch or me, LOL

 

Oh lord... this post scares me. Mine nap in their swings. And I want to move them in their cribs... but don't want them to lose sleep.

 

Ours napped in their cribs or the swing in the beginning and now they nap in their cribs or bouncies (sometimes swing). We don't put both of them in the cribs for naps since they sleep different lengths of time during the day and will wake each other. We do alternate who is in the crib though, so they'll continue to be comfortable sleeping there.

 

I started at 3.5 months -- first moved their swings into their room and then moved the babies into the cribs after they got used to the room.

now my boys are separated until we get better at sleeping at night... but both sleep best in their cribs these days.
