nap vent

I have to tell you - I can't wait until my LOs are a little older, on a more predictable schedule and nap less. I feel like that's all we do right now -- and that's "IF" they go down for a nap of course. They are almost 5 months old (4 months corrected) -- I sure hope it comes soon. It drives me insane. Maybe that's my issue -- maybe I just need to relax, leave it be and just realize this is the way it is right now.

JUST WANTED TO VENT! My husband is traveling, he does a lot of his job...so my job is raising the LOs -- I think my job is harder!!!!!!

 

Yes relax and enjoy the napping while you can Before you know it you will have two toddlers running around yelling at you practically all day because they decided that they only needed a 45 minute nap... AHHH! Oops thats MY issue.

But yes, I do remember those days! At that age, it seems like all you do all day is put them down for naps. But you are right on the brink of more predictable naps. Their little brains should be settling into it anytime now. Hang in there!

I agree, they will get to a more predictable nap stage! Mine have the rare day when they go on a nap strike, like Luke did this morning. But generally, I can count on 2 naps around the same time every day.

 

I agree with pp. A more predictable nap schedule is coming! In the meantime, take it one day at a time :hug:. Is there anyway you can get even an hour to yourself and have someone watch the babies for you?
