Nap Question

    I used to put my girls down for their one nap between 11 - 11:30am and they slept a good 2.5 hours. For the past 2 weeks it has been taking them forever to fall asleep and they've been waking up after 1.5 hours. So I guess I need to shift their nap to some time later, maybe 12:30pm. Will this affect their bed time? They usually go to sleep around 6:15 / 6:30pm.

    I had to make some adjustments after we went to one nap, too. We started off with their nap being right after lunch, around noon, and gradually it got so they could make it until 1pm, with their bedtime at 7:30. You could try shifting their nap and see what it does to their bedtime. They are quite possibly ready for a later bedtime, too - would it be a problem for you if their bedtime was later?

    If I were you, I'd try bumping the naptime by 15 minutes and let that go for a few days, then if needed try another 15 minutes, etc.

    Sounds like it. You could keep the same bedtime and see if it works but if not I would adjust. All 3 of mine napped 12:30-2 when we went to 1 nap and sometimes are in bed at 6:30...other nights 7 bu I try not to go later bc I have early risers!

    My boys go down for their nap between 12:30 and 1 and they go to bed around 7:15. We used to put them to bed at night around 6:45 but a couple of months ago they started waking really early so we adjusted bedtime a little later, 15 minutes at a time. 7:15ish is working well for us and I like having more time with them in the evenings. We have been using it to go for a walk after dinner since the weather has been warming up.
