Ok My daughter is Katelynne Grace, my middle name is Lynne as well as my moms, my Grandmothers middle name was Grace. I was single when I had Kate so no argument with anyone.

My BFs kids are Jeffrey James(JJ), Jeffrey is BFs dads name, James is JJ's mother's father's name. Dezaray Elizabeth- Lee is cuz the liked Dezaray Elizabeth is her moms middle name and Lee is my BFs middle name.

How to name twins....we think/HOPE they are boys. We have the total opposite ideas for names. I wanted Benjamin, Cameron, Max, or Alexzander. He doesnt. He picks WEIRD names, Jasper, Frost, and other odd ones. SO we FINALLY decide on James David, which is my grandfathers first and last name, and David is a friend on my BFs. We will call him Jamie though. Well he wants the twins to have the same intial. So I went with Justin, Jordan, and Joseph. Too many Justins and Jordan in his family, and he doesnt like Joey. He likes Jeremy, Jeremiah ( i said was a bullfrog), and Jarret. None of which I like AT ALL. HE said Jake, i know a TON of kids named Jake.

How in the heck to people argee on this stuff!

I agree!! It is frustrating!! At least you have time to decide. With my son, it took us 3 days to get a name written down. Thank goodness I had a c-section so we were in the hospital for extra days!!

We still don't have final names for our girls. DH likes Danielle (Dani) and Elizabeth (Ellie). I am still not sure about Dani. I picked the middle names at June and Jean, which is my grandma and her twin sister's names. They are going to be 80 years old in January.

I think they shoud all have family names if the first ones do, but my BF comes up with CRAZY names! But my daughter was a boy for both u/s 10 years ago so she didnt have a name for about an hour after she was born! I like Ellie, and the fact that its Elizabeth, gives a nickname and a more "grown up" name, which is what I aim for! Dani, is ok, not on my fave list!
Thankfully im only at 5 1/2 months so we have some time to come up with more!

    Good luck to you

This might sound really weird, or New-Agey, but honestly I beleive my kids have told me their names. Yes, they all three will share a name with someone, but that's not *why* I picked the names. I love Lord of the Rings, and I was re-reading Fellowship and saw Oin (Owen) and it just clicked. Owen Michael. Something in my head/belly said "Hey, Ma. That's *my* name." (My best friends middle name is Michael). My then husband heard me say it, and just grinned and went "Yeah. You're right. That *is* his name!" and we didn't even know at the time he was a boy!

Same thing happened with the girls-who we *did* know were girls at the time. Their names will be Gwendolyn Sarah (Called Wendy for short and Steffens Gma was Sarah) and Caroline Antonia (called Carrie for short, which is after Steffens best friends, who can't have kids-they are Caroline and Anthony.)
I just woke up one morning with the names in my head, told Steffen and he just said "My God. That's it. That's our girls. Carrie and Wendy".

My stepson, George was apparently called "Thingy" (affectionately, of course!)for the first four weeks of his life because they couldn't agree. Over here you have to file the birth and stuff yourself, at the Registrars office-the hospital won't do it like in the US, and you only have five weeks, or you get a fine. So, they just finally went "Oh, God, just call him George!".

I think you should just kind of meditate on it, and see if anything pops into your head. It very well may resolve itself. Good Luck! Let us know what you decide!

We have b/g twins. We named dd after my wonderful granny who helped raise me when my parents were at work. I told my older ds he could name one if we had twins. He was 16 1/2 yrs when they were born. He spent many hours looking at names and finally picked one. He was very happy to be part of this. The twins names are Lizie and Levi and our angle baby was named Preston my grannys maiden name. I was preg with triplets but we lost one of our beautiful boys.

For some reason we solved the name drama! My BF is stuck at Firestone because we have to have a new radiator! So I was messaging names, we decided on Jillian Charlotte and Jasmine Lee. Charlotte was my Grandmas name and Lee is my BFs middle name!

    YAY!!

Good Job! Im glad you came to an agreement. My childrens names were VERY HARD to pick w/ my ex.. It was the same way, everything I liked he knew someone who had it and didnt want it, or he just didnt like it..
The first two I fought it out with him and we figured something we were both ok with.. but the twins he named completely.. and I wish I would have fought it out again.. but its too late now, and they are who they are. :)
